Fifth grade students at G Ross Elementary School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania created a project to address the lack of safe bike paths in their city. They went through a four step process of feeling the problem, imagining solutions, taking action, and sharing their project. The students met with city officials, created a petition and letter of support, and planned a Bike Rodeo community event to raise awareness of the need for designated bike paths.
